The new season of Fortnite is a love letter to gaming. Epic has filled it with some of the most iconic games and characters from every era, including: Pac Man, Street Fighter, Sonic, Tomb Raider, and Halo.
Part of this love letter includes bringing back cheat codes in the form of Override Cartridges which give players rewards and abilities to break the rules and change the game.
So we asked some incredible Content Creators to reimagine these overrides in real life. What’s it like to have Sonic speed? Give something an extra life? Or the power to hide in plain sight?

Emily the Engineer, modded an ordinary paintball gun into Mega Man’s iconic rapid-firing weapon, the Mega Buster.

Hacker/Creator Mewtru brought the ability to hide in plain sight to life by creating a book that’s actually a stealth mode Fortnite gaming console.
Jesus Morales
Creator/Philanthropist, Jesus Morales brought the big loot override to life by creating a Claw Machine that was rigged for the people.
